User Guide

Welcome to the Mutare City Council Jobs Portal User Guide. This comprehensive guide will help you navigate the portal, apply for jobs, and manage your applications effectively.

Good News: During registration, you'll complete most of your profile information across 6 easy steps. This means once you finish registering, you'll be ready to start applying for jobs! You can always update your profile later to keep it current.

Getting Started

Register via the Sign Up page. The form is a 6-step wizard; most of your profile is captured during registration so you can apply for jobs soon after.

Registration wizard (6 steps)

On the Sign Up page you will go through Account Information (name, email, phone, password), Personal Details (birth date, gender, address, profession, ID, bio, etc.), Academic Qualifications, Professional Qualifications (optional), Work Experience, and References.

Validation & review: Pay attention to validation messages on each step (required fields, formats, file types). On the final step you get a chance to review all your data before you submit — use it to correct anything before creating your account.
Password: You set your password during sign-up. Choose one you will remember; you need it every time you log in.

After you complete all 6 steps and submit, you are logged in and can use My Profile to update details anytime, and Available Jobs to apply.

Why Profile Updates Matter

Keep Your Profile Current

Regularly update your profile with new skills, qualifications, and experience. Review it before each application.

Use Professional Documents
